Pot Roast
POT ROAST
Serves 12.
2 3lb english roasts
2 c water
2 tsp beef base
1/2 tbs dried basil
1/2 tbs garlic powder
1/2 tbs onion powder
1/2 tbs ground black pepper
Add beef base to water and heat to boiling.
Heat dutch oven on stove top. Flour roasts and brown roast on all side
in dutch oven.
Place lid on dutch oven and place in 275 oven for 4 hours.
Remove roasts to cutting board. place dutch oven on stove top, heat
until boiling. Add roux or flour to thicken.
